To say that Antler's music is eerie may be an understatement. One of the most intriguing bands I've had the pleasure of meeting here in Toronto, Antler mixes an old time country songwriting style with the avant guard.
Vanessa Hanson plays a type of banjo-guitar hybrid, that couldn't be more suitable for their sound. Colleen Costello's sparse drums and electronics perfectly compliment the soaring melody.
Antler will be performing in Toronto at the Cameron House, Dec 11th.

I super loved Antler playing at teeny tiny 33 Yale St. That was a killer show - those ladies are super talented!
