SAT APRIL 4

Kundun playing at Bloor Cinema 4pm
One of Martin Scorsese most underrated (and under seen) films plays as part of The Toronto Tibet Film Festival. The story of the 14th Dali Lama finds Scorsese in unusual territory. But he handles the story with respect, and has an eye for beauty not often seen in his work.

Death Cab for Cutie at the Sound Academy

MON APRIL 6

Ladytron and the Faint at Phoenix Concert Theatre
Good double bill. A serious dancy night at the Phoenix. More electro than you can shake a stick at.


WED APRIL 8

The Apartment and Rear Window playing at Revue Cinema
Nice to see the Revue bringing back there classic film Wednesdays. I've talked about Billy Wilder's The Apartment at length, but Rear Window will be a treat on the big screen. The Apartment is playing at 2 and 7, and Rear Window is on at 9.
