Track of the Week: Machine Gun by Portishead

I just swapped roommates for the 12th time this month. My good friend Alexis Marsh is off to bigger and better things in L.A. and my sister has now taken her place. So, a new roommate means someone new to show music to! She immediately gravitated towards Portishead's brilliant album from last year, Third.


Re-listening to this album has been great. What a solid outing for a band who many people had written off as a tired genre act. Machine Gun is only one of the many great tracks from this album. I urge you to pick it up!
