Howdy folks. Back in 97' the great jazz guitarist Bill Frisell released one of the finest Nashville records ever made, suitably titled "Nashville". There are so many great tracks here, I'm always drawn to one in particular, Gimme A Holler. Check it out, then get your hands on the full album, you won't be disappointed.

In looks, he is the Bruce Cockburn of jazz guitar. Also, you're due for a Bruce Cockburn track of the week.
That's a good idea. I don't have any digital files of Bruce Cockburn, only Vinyl... I'll have to work on it, anything from his first album would do!
beautiful song. this record blew my mind when it came out. thanks for reminding me.
yes! this tune is great. it's one of my favorites. There's something about drum-less jazz records that i love. Another no drums record that Frisell is on is Angel song, Kenny Wheeler. That was actually my intro to Frisell's playing and I fell in country tinged jazz love.
